The potential challenger....the one who threw in the towel...is a conservative blogger and activist from Fairfield, Maine. His name....Derek Lavasseur. I’ve lived in Maine for 27 years and I have not heard of him.
As I said, he dropped out of the race at the request of the president.

Senator Mountain Meadows (Sanctimony Be Upon Him) isn’t up until 2024. Collins is up in 2020, Murkowski in 2022.

Former GOP conservative governor Paul LePage hates Washington.....the president wanted to offer LePage a position in his administration, but the former governor said he has no interest in living in Washington.
LePage has said he likes executive positions; LePage said in the senate, you’re one of a hundred and nothing ever gets done.
LePage was term-limited in 2018 but he has said he wants to run for Governor of Maine again in 2022, which he can do legally. He currently spends the winter in Florida and the summer here in Maine.

The Senate Resolution served notice to the Democrat Fascist House caucus that their current clown show kangaroo court was DOA in the US Senate. It why Nancy is now staging this fake vote Thursday. Too bad for her it still does not meet any of the requirements of the US Senate relution for a fair, open legal process.
Except that Pelosi isn’t exactly calling for an actual vote to impeach; she’s calling for a vote to set up rules for impeachment. She knows she doesn’t yet have the votes to actually impeach. More games. At least, that’s my understanding.
