Well I’m not at all a fan of his nor his family though I understand they have a big following I’ll never understod why as apart from Kanye’s music popularity the rest have been little more than porn models re-designed under a surgeons scaple.

Sounds right to me. I find the females uninteresting, like plastic Barbie dolls lined up for their next clone in line.

I’m in the tub listening to Dropkick Murphys

I have Kanye a shot

It’s a nice effort but aside from some redneck melodic rap like Upchurch I don’t care for it at all

But I applaud his testimony....an evangelical term for a profession in Christ

Alright, he’s not the f#$king Murphys, but I still liked it. Do you listen to The Real McKenzies too?

I listen to all kinds of music

Today listened to the Zombies since they got in RRHOF and I was moved by their performance...Here’s a remarkable work

Rod Argent and Colin Blustone of the Zombies bare bones ....at a bookstore....70 years old...Colin does damn good

https://youtu.be/NrpX8HgQxOw

Makes me misty eyed...My youth

And I listened to early Bowie today......Hunky Dory and Diamond Dogs

And Jackyl

And Bill Monroe, and Ry Cooder and Daniel Lanois with Emmy Lou Harris

Led Zepplin II.....a few songs

Ballad of Curtis Lowe

About eight version of Route 66 in the tub from Nelson Riddle to Ray Charles to Nat King Cole to Bing Crosby to Ray Benson to Stones to Depeche Mode to Glen Frey to the Replacements ....my wife’s old paramour Paul Westerberg

And now I’m listening to Love Devotion and Surrender ....Santana and McLaughlin and the best jazz fusion drummer who ever lived Billy Cobham

This guitar is for some reason making me think of Ernie Isley so I may listen to some Isley Brothers 73-77

I’ll drift off much later to Carlos Nakai or Tangerine Dream...

I watched a Grace Potter and the Nocturnals video earlier....White Rabbit I think just cause I like to watch her naturals bounce around

Nice mix of stuff - good taste.

I go to a lot of live shows, with a variety of acts. I usually video a song or two. My YouTube page now has just under 8,000,000 views! dagalagas videos

If you like the Murphys, you should check out The Real McKenzies - their Scottish soulmates.

“I’ve got your drinkin’ money, tune up your Dobro.” Haven’t heard that in a while.

Saw Cobham with Bobby and the Midnites in the early ‘80s, and man could he play. The show gave me a new respect for Weir’s guitar playing too. Mydland on the keys.

Bowie’s darkest and most underrated album — The Man Who Sold the World (‘70). Real nice guitar work by Mick Ronson throughout.
