Mike Bloomberg is preparing to enter the Democratic presidential primary

Mike Bloomberg, the billionaire former mayor of New York, is preparing to enter the Democratic presidential primary, according to NBC News, which cited a Bloomberg advisor.

The move didn’t necessarily mean Bloomberg was announcing a campaign, a source close to Bloomberg told NBC News. Rather, this source said, he’s doing this to keep his options open. Bloomberg is “troubled” by what he has seen in the Democratic primary, the source added.

“He’s still not sure,” a source told CNBC. This source also said these are “unprecedented times” and that Bloomberg is concerned about what he’s seeing both from Democrats and President Donald Trump.

The New York Times reported Thursday, citing people briefed on the plans, that Bloomberg was working on entering at least one Democratic presidential primary and potential the overall race for the chance to take on Trump in 2020.

The democrats don’t need another pompous a$$ from New York.

The story I heard at the time was that Bloomberg could not run as a democrat for mayor because all the democrat slots for that office were already filled. Bloomberg waited too long.

His only other choice was to run as a Republican or not run at all.

Bloomberg is incredibly smart. A friend of ours has worked for him since the very start. When we were last with him, (in July maybe?) he told us there is no way Bloomberg runs. We’ll see if he was right. He’s worked for Bloomberg for over 25 years.

I’ll believe it when I see it. He wasn’t the best mayor in NYC history but he sure wasn’t the worst. But his Nanny state policies on soda and breast feeding were pathetic.

What a sh*t show the Democrats have on their hands this election. Despite them whistling past the graveyard with the impeachment fiasco they are setting up for a another big defeat. Bloomberg is a politically promiscuous 77 year old white Jewish Billionaire, What could go wrong there?

I say next year it's 1994 and 2016 rolled into one, Trump winning 350+ EVs and a flip of 15-25 House seats and few more pickups in the Senate. Pelosi having to give up the gavel again(probably for the last time) and RBG kicking the bucket. 2020-22 are the MOST important times in American history, like 1861 critical. We have to stem the tide of flagrant voter fraud, stopping illegal immigration, stemming leftists takeover of the school system, and a further culling down of the Federal bureaucracy. this all can be done with sound and target policy decisions.

He also changed the term rules so he could serve as mayor a third term....then he changed it back just before he left office! .....he’d do likewise with the presidency no doubt.

Yep. When you think about how Trump is hated.... He is hated as much or more by the left as those on the right hated Hillary.

They’ve had 4 years to find someone to beat him and this cast of stiffs is what they’ve come up with. They’re for inclusion and minorities and gays etc... and their top 3 candidates are old white people. Seriously?

Yes, Pete looks like their party. He’s young, energetic, looks good on camera, and has some decent ideas. But of this person, they choose the most unqualified one they can find. ?? What are they thinking?

I don’t know about an electoral landslide. Only because 12-15 states would vote for a dead squirrel with a D after their name. But he will get enough to win and to win by a sizeable margin.

We’ll see. But barring an economic disaster, I just don’t see him losing. His mouth can be its own worst enemy, but even on that score he’d have to really F up.

It’s his to lose.

Juan Williams sure was upset. Said this basically signals just how bad the current crop of candidates are, including frontrunners Biden and Warren.

Trump might win the Electoral College, but I doubt he could win the popular vote. Hilary fxxxed up by not campaigning in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. There are even a lot of Republicans, especially women, who are not happy with the way Trump talks and acts. They might not vote against him, they may just stay home or tell their husbands they are going to vote and go shopping instead.

My wife can’t stand the way Trump acts. Her opinion runs the complete gamut. Poor example for kids, embarrassment to the world, petulant little kid, womanizer, unethical business dealer. You name it.

Trouble is, she knows the left is a nightmare. Fortunately for her, she won’t be forced into a decision since NJ will never go red again. She’ll vote, just probably not for POTUS.

You seemingly got close there to suggesting Bill Gates was a self-made man, which would be beyond laughable, if one knew his parents, particularly William Sr. What would make 100+ million copies of Windows 95 sail out the door in its first month, before Microsoft had even had its first billion-dollar year and billg was merely an 8-figure guy?

In a similar way, Soros isn't his own man, either. The British crown purposely made him what he's become through currency manipulation. Soros is a British Agent, which is understood in very few places.

Is Soros pro Brexit or pro EU connectivity? And if there is an election will the pro Brexit or pro EU vote win?
