Widow of late Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings announces campaign for husband's seat

The widow of late Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., said on Monday that she will launch a campaign to win her husband’s seat as representative of Maryland’s 7th Congressional District.

Maryland Democratic Party Chairwoman Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, 48, initially told The Baltimore Sun that she would formally announce her campaign on Tuesday, nearly a month after her husband died of cancer on Oct. 17 at age 68.

Rep. Elijiah Cummings served nearly two decades in Congress and played an integral role in the early stages of the impeachment inquiry into President Trump as the chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee.

“I have the background and the focus and the commitment and the ability to take the reins and to make a good run for this seat,” Rockeymoore Cummings said.

She also has the loot her late husband acquired, stole, or pilfered.

Exactly my thought! Even a barbers wife can say “well I’ve seen him cut hair a hundred times”! Seeing a barber cut hair doesn’t make you a barber, same with the occupations you listed.

They would indeed be miserable, after all, if they didn’t have something to complain about.

With the help of politicians like Cummings I can bring happiness to people and ensure political continuity.

She’ll get elected because there are lots of people who want welfare.

They will get their welfare and stay in poverty while Cumming’s widow lives like a queen.

Unfortunately, that’s what crooked politicians have done to citizens.

Another fine example of a Maryland politicians were Prince George’s beloved Jack B Johnson (5 years prison time) and Will Campos (54 months jail time).
