I don’t understand how being someone’s wife means you are qualified to take over his job. I guess if you have the right progressive views, that alone qualifies you.

Remember when a dead man won a Senate seat in Missouri because the Governor promised to appoint his wife, if they elected him? He won and the governor did appoint the wife thus ending the Senate career of John Ashcroft.

Not only can democrats vote after the die, they can also be elected to office. Who knew?

Funneling money to ones wife and children seems to be a popular pastime of democratic politicians.Sadly, I believe many of the R persuasion politicians are knee deep in that bog as well. How else do you explain the lack of overwhelming condemnation of said practices by our august elected leaders?
