Their hypocritical “inclusive” means they exclude everyone who loves America and is conservative.
Their avoiding something “oppressive” means they oppress the above people.
They believe free speech ends when anyone expresses patriotism or liking President Trump or being conservative. They are silenced, their public speakers are shouted down and refused permission to speak on campus. The students would have them jailed if they had the power. Remember that, please.
They enthusiastically voted in Dem Gretchen Witmer who was called “a tireless promoter of unrestricted abortion rights for women at any stage of pregnancy.” To applause, of course.
As an outraged (as usual) Michigan FReeper I denounce that place and the deviant donkeys the students and professors rode in on.
Unless a miracle happens the state of Michigan is lost. Some good people (far from where I live in Southeast MI) cannot cope with the trashy inner cities, the brainwashed college morons or the fraudulent and illegal voters.
If the leftists are too lazy to vote (as 2016) and the Trump people are energized here is a slim chance. We must have voter ID by Nov.,2020 as well as the above turnout pattern.
If Federal Aid and State Funds can’t be cut off, at least the alumnae should rise up and cut off all funding etc.
Sorry but the ‘Foreign Students’ can go pound salt.
Imagine US kids in a Russian college ‘demanding’ all Russian traditions be cancelled because they are offensive to the ‘foreign students’ OR (as probably is most of the case here) Russians demanding the same on behalf of the ‘foreigners’.
Don’t go to a Catholic College and get upset because Mass is said daily, just leave.

US News and World Report has also ranked several of GVSU’s graduate programs among the best in the country. These “top” programs include Physical Therapy, Nursing, Social Work, Physicians Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Public Affairs, and Business.
In other words, a glorified Junior College.
A good dream but this could only be part of a larger civil war going on.
The majority in this state is leftist and has no inhibitions about eliminating any of us here if opposed. Thus, it would be a two sided battle and shouldn’t be entered into without that decision being made about the national civil war.
As a Michigan resident I denounce the scum leftists but not to the Concord Bridge or Fort Sumter level at this time.

Spread this information wide and far. Donors and incoming students will dry up and they will go out of business. There are too many of these schools in existence any way!!
There are dozens of excellent schools in each of those areas of study, and also hundreds of community colleges that provide a good product in those majors at cheaper costs.
The college kids of the 60’s sucked bad, but the kids today? Holy cow!
Everybody on FR that is denouncing this. Prepare for it. This is the future of America. This is what modern public education is producing, and someday a few decades down the road, this mentality will be rearranging the architecture of our once great nation.

These kids are spending large amounts of their parents money to get an education that is looking less and less useful. They are learning bad planning and follow through. The education is costing more then the wage return for most college graduates.

What’s significant about this is that GVSU is located in the formerly conservative bastion of West Michigan, Allendale with a campus in Grand Rapids, my hometown. It’s sad to see what’s become of the place every time I go back. It’s no wonder they elected Justin Amash.

This university is our alma mater (hubby and myself). We still live about 40 minutes away in west Michigan. West Michigan is the conservative side of the state. GVSU is going to lose donors over this, both from corporate and alumni. I think their large public broadcasting station also will lose support. Bad time to be doing this, lots of fundraising starting up. I hope they feel a good pinch over this.
Grand Valley State University will no longer be protected or served by the sheriff or police. If trouble erupts, call an international student.
It is sad...seems this sort of thing (or worse) is happening in all but private Christian schools.
My daughter went to Northern Michigan, interned in Lansing and the Soo, and she was an athlete, so saw much of the state at various events...Seemed outside of Detroit, it is mostly conservative—and beautiful country BTW.
