You are correct. It is an innate biological impulse to be attracted to sexually mature adolescents - it leads to children and survival. Was a boy or a man supposed to look at a developed 15 y.o. and say, hmm, three more years?
That is not to say it is always moral to act on the attraction -that depends on time and circumstances - or that prostituting a minor ever is, but the attraction is normal.
While appalling, sex with post-pubescent, but underage prostitutes is not the same as sex with pre-pubescent little girls. The law treats it the same, and it is even called pedophilia, but psychologically, it isn’t the same.

I bet it would surprise quite a few people here in the Uptight Citizen’s Brigade to look back over their family tree and see just how many times their ancestors married and the age and age spread of those same couplings. Pretty much anyone walking and breathing today is the direct result of one of their ancestors who was probably in their 20’s to 30’s getting married to a girl in their teens. It wasn’t even something that people batted an eye about as much as 2 generations ago.

It’s not just about pedophilia, I believe it’s actually about what sets the boundaries for admissions into the truly elite. I think that Epstein and the numerous sex crimes that have been exposed and are being exposed paint a picture of a communal dark secret that they use to keep or distinguish themselves as elite. I see this as an initiation activity. You aren't really trusted as part of the group until you partake in the initiation.
This is why, in earlier cultures which demanded virginity at marriage, girls were married off in their teens.
Well, I think teenagers, regardless of their sex, are disturbed in comparison to the way we older people think.
