That was one of the all time greats:

I was on that call so many years ago!!
I asked if the V.P. Was going to campaign in China.
I did the H.Ross Perot impression.
I also asked if the Vice President was a victim of partial birth abortion.
I’ve been around a long time. After 9/11 I kinda stayed away from making friends on the internet as I knew some in the financial business I never heard from again. They worked in various building in New York.
So I recently signed up again but couldn’t remember my old name exactly or password.
Haven’t seen Bunny Slippers in a while.......she was on that call too.
We were given a phone number that the press had to call in. We were all quiet for some time as we listen to Gore’s people spoon feed what the media should say or think.
I still have my Sore/Loserman tee shirt and coffee mug!! LMAO The good old days.

Yep, I was on it too....call in info posted so we were commenting along in real time...oh my God, I am doubled over with laughter just thinking about it....SO hilarious....listening to it and following our commentary....”be polite” “don’t cuss”....”OMG who just flushed the toilet??”.....I know I’ve seen a transcript of it over the years but I am looking for the actual recording that someone made, if it’s still around....the technology is probably like asking someone to go back to “dial-up” connection but I figured one of our FR wizards might be able to come up with it.......

Yes.......we were posting here and on the call at the same time.
It shocked the media and Gore’s advisors (can’t recall their names).
The confusing thing however was later that evening, a few people “FReepers” were angry about it and really ripped into us. I was baffled by that.
Thanks for making my remember that. I wish we could something like that again when the Democrats decide their candidate. Very funny.

That campaign was second only to 2016 in delightful election memories (actually for me, Canadian and born in the UK, 2000 is behind the Brexit vote as well as 2016). But for US conservatives, 2000 has to be second.
There is something about winning one of the close ones that is so much better than a blowout.
