Notice how they are described not as illegal aliens but rather "people from Mexico".
My bet is they also have a distinctive set of tatoos.
Castro was a man from Cuba.
12 invaders/criminals from Mexico...
Par for the course. Sacramento news outlets are members-in-good-standing of The Fake News Media Cabal.
Because no doubt their travel visas were still valid.
How many were “dreamers”?
People from Mexico? How the heck did they get here? Were they kidnapped?
What state is Butte County in?
Naw...probably students at Chico State
N. CALIF
I’d rather see a butt in bust county,
than a bust in butt county.
Not much news lately on the man from Mexico growing marijuana in El Dorado County who shot and killed the deputy sheriff last month. Very similar circumstance. Heavily armed men from Mexico growing illegal plots of marijuana.
Ha!..Right up the road from us...Well, everything in Butte County is right up the road... To answer your question, California. Butte County was at one time the largest county in the State, but the broke off pieces to create other counties.
The Feather River runs through Butte County and in 1848, the second gold strike was made in June. The first along the American River in February of 1848. Originally called Ophir City, the name was changed to Oroville because another settlement shared the name at another strike.
More gold was taken out of this area than most anywhere else. Even to this day, one can be walking along the river and find nuggets as big as a man’s fist just begging to be picked up like ripe oranges...
Yup, lotsa gold still in those hills....
Never ceases to amaze me that posters think everyone knows exactly where Butte(or wherever) is. Thanks for asking because I am not following the link just to find the info that should have been posted.
We’re living out bizarro world every day now. Would they write “people from Ireland?” Were any of them members of the LGBTQ+ community?
Moreover, they made weed legal. But, actually not legal apparently. This grow operation interferes with the tax authority. So while the Democrats debated on stage giving amnesty to pot growers and border crossers yesterday, Oregon police bust both at the same time today.
Doh! I wrote Oregon. Same difference, almost.

BUTTE COUNTY (CBS13) Twelve people from Mexico were arrested in an investigation across three Butte County properties involved in a marijuana operation ran by members of a Mexican drug trafficking organization, the Butte County Sheriffs Office said.
Search warrants were issued at three Brush Creek residences along Bonnie Meadow Lane as a result of an investigation into $164,200 in cash seized during an Oroville traffic stop in early November.

The sheriffs office said the Special Enforcement Unit developed probable cause to believe the three men arrested in the traffic stop were on their way to Bonnie Lane to buy a large amount of marijuana.
Butte County detectives said they eradicated 1,204 live marijuana plants, collected over 278 pounds of processed marijuana bud, over 457 pounds of marijuana bud on stem, over 184 pounds of marijuana shake, two illegal Ar-15 rifles and over $14,000 in cash.
The twelve individuals, all from Mexico, were identified as Roberto Estrada, 38, Jennifer Marquez, 34, Beatriz Alvarez, 34, Emilio Orozco, 31, Daniel Perez, 22, Bernardo Ayalavarez, 34, Vianney Barcena, 34, Carolina Ruiz, 20, Dulce Sanchez, 27, Nestor Ortiz, 32, Cristobal Briseno, 19 and Orlando Martinez, 29.
All 12 were arrested on charges of marijuana cultivation. Estrada and Ortiz had additional charges of maintaining a residence for drug sales, the sheriffs office said.
The sheriffs office said all 12 people are from Mexico, but it is unclear if they were in the U.S. illegally.
Officials said additional suspects have been identified and search warrants will be sought. The sheriffs office said the illegal weapons are being processed for the presence of DNA.
"Police announce big bust."
Nice! I’d let her lock me up.
