The Commander in Chief already pardoned the man. Anything more is malicious prosecution and could end up with that perfumed prince demoted and drummed out of the Navy.
Maybe that’s what should happen.
Trump issued a full Pardon. Then they started a new proceeding internally. So he tweeted.
“The Navy will NOT be taking away Warfighter and Navy Seal Eddie Gallaghers Trident Pin. This case was handled very badly from the beginning. Get back to business!
6:30 AM - Nov 21, 2019”
And they STILL insist that they are going forward? Fire his ass Trump.
This is basically mutiny! He’s countermanding President Trump’s order and pardon.
Secretary Spencer.
With all due respect, you need to either follow the lead of our elected Commander-In-Chief or immediately resign your position.
You have no other option, Sir.
Carry on.
Your boss already made his decision, accept it or resign.
We don't need any more deep state bull shit, accept reality or move on with your life's new work.
These deep staters cannot accept the FACT that Trump won't play their stupid games.
But, but, but he wears a uniform!
I believe the process matters for good order and discipline...
Buh bye.
I believe civilian secretaries in charge of military departments should believe that this matters: faithfully (and without sass) interpreting and implementing the policy priorities of the U.S. President.
[Im sick and tired of the Commander in Chief I voted for not being respected by these Military Industrial Complex hacks.]
Translation: I am making a political statement and stand for political correctness in order to show the next Democratic & RINO administrations that I am ready for their promotion
POTUS needs to snuff this Pentagon revolt out NOW!
FIREMALL!
Absolutely correct! He is the CIC. Period. End of story. NAVSEC is gone today. Officers to follow.
I think it’s more that he beat the Navy in court. You may win in court, but the military will have the last word, or so it thinks in this case. It’s definitely to sweep the place clean, or Chief Gallagher will be going through this crap the rest of his career. Think Cdr Charles McVay of the Indianapolis, Cdr Lloyd Bucher (his attorney was a Navy Reserve Commander, whose career was ruined because he dared defend against the Navy), and many others.
Just who is the Commander In Chief anymore? President Trump or this flat a$$ desk jockey.
Amen Zhang Fei.
My wife had a Delta 88, she is a normal sized women 5' 6", but used a pillow on her car seat because she couldn't see the fender on the starboard side.
My daughter was NEVER allowed to back that car out of the garage {after the first time, when she got both fenders and the garage door tracks {on both sides}.
I had a Mercedes 550 that was smaller than that 88.
The only car I remember that looked bigger was a 1949 Mercury which looked like a double wide bath tub, 'hot tub' {upside down}.
killing the terrorist....wonderful! that’s what the Seal’s job was to do
posing for the picture? I personally think that was tacky and soldiers should be told to not do this, imho
knowingly firing at unarmed civilians (who were not also posing a danger or shielding terrorists)....discipline sounds necessary
but the Navy leader giving this public statement should also be told to knock it off! if he disagrees with his boss he should simply communicate that information privately, NOT in the public media!!!!!!
Sec Spence may not be qualified for the office; it is patently unwise to contradict one's boss in the national press (even when, as here, it is a close call on whether the boss made a questionable call).
Bring these riffed line officers back, if they would like to come out of retirement.
He is part of the coup.
Fire him
What Part of “Commander in Chief” do you NOT Understand?
