Hopefully President Trump made Romney an offer he couldn’t refuse. I’m sure casual conversation involve Romney’s involvement in Ukraine and how his family has enriched themselves. It would be quite a shame to make that known to the world. And thus have the involvement of bar or some of the other folks working on this.
He does not cause the problem, but he sure as hell will address it.
Romney wants conflict with Russia. The Deep State only destroys those who don’t.
There are only two conditions under which Romney would vote to convict President Trump. First would be if there were 66 votes for conviction and his would be the 67th and deciding vote. The other condition would be if there were already 67 or more conviction votes and his would be a meaningless vote to go along with the crowd. Romney is not a man of substance.
Only Obama would believe Romney.
Actually, I agree with you on that one. He was spied on and what most people are not aware of is that Trump was not the only one spied on in 2016. Trump has gotten all the ink since he won, but I have read that based on what has been released, that Romney, Jeb! and Graham were also spied on since they did not know who would win the nomination. There has been very little printed about the others spied on.
I think a normal politician knows it’s important to make nice with potential enemies. He’s better off with Romney on his side. It’s kind of Politics 101 - not certain it is genius - it’s just common sense.

Is Vegas taking wagers on whether Romney will vote to remove? I’d guess odds are 3 to 2.

Well they made a trip alright, and it had nothing to do with Ukraine. They didn't even seem to discuss it. Hilarious.
I’ve resented Romney for a long time now because of the way he stepped back and handed that election to Obama. We were all left feeling like fools. We were had, and we knew it. Not sure what to make of this ‘delightful’ lunch, but I trust Trump to handle him however necessary. Keeping Romney close is a good strategy. Trump’s got this.
