“That’s as accurate as it is irrelevant” makes for some interesting parsing.

Romney is quite immature.

Of course. In the halls of power, you must sometimes make common cause with snakes in order to get from them that which you need, such as consensus on vital matters. Doesn’t change the fact that they’re snakes and you have to watch your back.

“As accurate as it is irrelevant”
That means, either it’s not accurate and is highly relevant, and I’ll screw him the first chance I get.
Or it can mean it is accurate. Pompous ass. That’s me. But it’s irrelevant.
I believe it’s the former.

Seems pretty obviously a move to defuse issues and persuade Mitt to Trumps side as
impeachment Supreme Court confirmation votes are counted.
Fixed. :-)

I love when Trump does this.

...even though Trump slammed the senator last month as a pompous ass. And; in December; he'll STILL be a pompous ass.

Romney. Candidate for Emptiest Suit Ever.
Right now he says lunch with Trump was delightful. But if it’s expedient on a given day, Romney would say the same of lunching on snake eggs in a goose crap sauce.

They each can benefit from an alliance.. Trump seems to carry few grudges, the kind of guy who can punch and counterpunch and then move on. A valuable trait.

Romney had the same look on his face as in the “interview” supper one on one for Sec State-—photo seated at a table.
And definitely NOT the look on his face as he was leaving. having been informed of the Panama Papers and a part of what obamaumao’s spy operation had on him (ie. what trump was comfortable letting on).
Romney is a SNAKE. “Take me in Tender Woman-— said the silent snake”. With the magic underwear and convinced he’s already a “chosen” god here on Earth. Combined with a con artist used car salesman— a “Mr. Haney” with pommade hair.

Romney shrugged off Trump tweeting last month that he is a pompous ass who has been fighting me from the beginning.
Thats as accurate as it is irrelevant, Romney joked to reporters who asked him about that pointed comment from Trump.
This reminds me of two boys fighting it out on the play ground and then shaking hands and walking as friends. Good friends and family have “discussion’s on minor issues and then get back to working toward the major issues.
Yes we have an opinion of Romney but most of that is framed by the liberal press, never forget that.
“as accurate as it is irrelevant” is an interesting choice of words.................................

Last time they dined, when Mitty went begging for SoS job, Trump released a photo of them cordially smiling, but I noticed in front of Pierre was a dish of frogs legs. That is a dish served hot!
