OK I’ll ask, CAMS?

Only one out of three is even somewhat attractive.

I heard it was worse than the Caddshack II movie, and that would take a lot!

We. Are. Tired. Of. Remakes. And. Will. Not. Pay. Good. Money. To. Dole. Out. Theater. Prices. Or. Even. PPV. Prices. To. Satisfy. Some. Hollywonk’s. Desire. For. Nostalgia.

Simple as that.

A silly premise based on a silly television series, mostly fueled with an abundance of T & A.

“Until the late 1970s, by the way, most movies opened on Wednesdays,...”

I may be remembering it wrong but I remember SoCal always getting movies after the rest of the nation. Sometimes it would be several weeks.

Bottom line, the TV series succeeded because of the jiggle factor and the 2000 movie did well because of Bill Murray, Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz. This new property had Kristen Stewart, whose gothic image is not exactly popular with men and two unknowns. Then there’s Elizabeth Banks playing Charlie. Unless Banks is wearing a very feminine and very revealing costume, she’s not someone men will pay to see at the theater. Note that the superhero movies with female leads feature them wearing skintight costumes.

I think the movie failed, because leftist women are stupid and arrogant.

As it happens, Charlie's Angels is a dull, charmless, witless, and nonsensical piece of work—but moviegoers couldn't have known that without seeing it first.

Look at that picture. Those three woketards don't have enough brain cells among them to put together a functional synapse.

Charlie's Angels failed for the same reason that the new Ghostbusters, Terminator, and CW's Batwahhhman are failing. They all stink. The acting is terrible. The action is terrible. The writing and directing is terrible.

And you cannot insult the most likely audience and expect them to want to pay money to see your movie.

Hollywood, you suck.

CAMS as opposed to Screeners

A person goes into the movie first run and uses a cell phone to record the movie (Screener very low quality), another guy goes in an uses a video camera (Cam slightly better quality), another guy edits for subtitles and sync. All post to a free streaming site.

People online watch and form an opinion: go to the show because it is worth in after seeing the low quality version, or wait for the DVD, or skip entirely as a waste of time.

Indeed, the movie's writer-director, Elizabeth Banks (who also plays a lead role), has sought to do exactly this. She blames misogyny. We should be charitable to Banks...

No...we shouldn’t.

Yeah, so would I. But I’m an old guy so I would have to warm up with the bookends before hand.

My wife and I bought tickets for Midway, but were an hour early. So we went into Charlies Angels to kill time. Only 2 or 3 other people and 200 empty seats.

The storyline makes no sense, there is no acting. The photographer must have been high and unable to know where to aim the camera. Several of the women ( I avoid calling them actresses) changed their appearance for no explainable reason.

Midway was quite the opposite. About 100 of thwe 200 seats occupied. A mix of young guys in military hair cuts and their dates, both Black and white military, and us older, mostly white couples raised in the 50s. Very few people between 30 and 60. Mostly over 70 or under 30.

We saw the promos for Richard Jewell and the Midway audience clearly was going to see it.

Then Bombshell, the titilation of FOX News. The Midway audience clearly is not going to see that movie.

The TV show was T&A with popcorn plots. And the women LIKED men. If they had been angry harpies, the TV show would have failed too.

I’m betting the Jeshalia Bond series will last one movie and die. Lots of guys are tired of watching 110 lb women beat the snot out of 200 lb trained men fighters, all the while blathering “I am WOMAN, hear me ROAR!” If we wanted roaring women, we would remarry our first ex.

That is one Ella Balinska. She is quite beautiful. She is 23 years old, same age as Tom the Other Son, who is not nearly as pretty but has long, brown hair like Ms. Balinska. It’s his mountain-man shtick.

Kristen Stewart is homely, always has been.
