First heard of this in 2014, when an ex-girlfriend died of it.
I had a girlfriend who had to have surgery to remove pre-cancerous cells caused by HPV.
I'm not judgmental about (consenting adult, non-cheating) sex choices; however I do see a difference between being a "victim" and a "volunteer".
I’m glad they were able to save her.
So, really easy to prevent; if your a woman, don’t let your boyfriend or husband talk you into taking it up the A&&.

Don’t be surprised if 20 and 30 sometin’s ladies start increasing hpv cancer...lots of women who want to remain “virgins”...allow receptive anal or oral intercourse to please (somewhat) their partner....ya reap what ya sow. Think positive...they die or are perpetually ill...you ain’t and get to live a healthy productive life.

Seems like repeated trauma to any part of the body can cause CA. I worked with a Chinese cardiologist who told me that there is a high rate of esophageal CA in Northern China from eating rough coarse ground corn. Also in Japan gastric CA is high, the glue like rice they eat is hard to digest, the stomach has a hard time breaking it down.
So prolonged repetitive blunt trauma to the rectal canal has it hazards. Vagina is constructed totally different, it was designed for that type of activity, you know what I mean dontcha!

Absolutely. We always have to look at the RATE of infection incidences per group. Women are just over 50% of the population. Homos make up less than 2%. That greatly magnifies the rate disparity.
Exactly the same with HIV/AIDS, where homos represent over 60% of infections, being less than 2% of the population.
I have been sleeping with the same woman for 26 years now. We are monogamous. My risk is zero and her risk is zero. We only do normal sex acts.
