Disgusting. The Dems/media merely accused the winner of the NC-9th race doing this and refused to seat him and they had to redo the contest. Now the ultraleft NC courts are stealing (PA-style) several House seats there for the next cycle (they're demanding at least 4 Cong. seats, putting the GOP that much further away from a majority).

Yep, the damage is 2 seats. The folks over at Red Racing Horses have the scoop:

Basically, it completely screws over George Holding, as the new NC-2 is now a 60% Hillary Clinton seat, but apparently he’s been preparing to retire for some time. The other Republican seat to turn into a safe Dem seat is in the Triad area, but it’s not clear whether Foxx, Budd, Walker or McHenry will lose the game of musical chairs since all their seats got rearranged.
The new map does weaken Mark Meadows by sticking all of Asheville in his seat and Richard Hudson by putting in all of Fayetteville in his seat, but both seats are still GOP-leaning. Basically, both gents now have to be on guard from now on but they should still be able to win.
Overall it does suck, but this is not at all the worst it could have been.
