The Spanish were in Mexico before the English were in North America - but the US was independent before Mexico was.History Professor LS (Larry Schweikart) made the point that altho the (now) US Southwest was claimed by Spain before US independence - and therefore by Mexico after 1821 - Spanish/Mexican writ never ran there. The “Indians” of the region were were never subjected by either Spain or Mexico.
Obviously those tribes found resisting US colonization to be a horse of a different color . . .

But we all know what liars the media are. We also know Trump is very careful about revealing his plans regarding terrorists. Good example of his near wipe-out of ISIS. Trump was secretive so as not to tip the enemy off. And once he won a victory over ISIS, the Leftist Media wouldn't report it.
