During an appearance on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, anti-Trump liberal Juan Williams, President Trump’s surprise trip to Afghanistan was a “photo-op” meant to distract from impeachment.
"Remember, he hadn’t gone to visit any war zone until last year, he was criticized for it. This is the first visit to Afghanistan, our longest war, 2,000 plus Americans dead."
"He had no preparation. He talked about a ceasefire but his military people said, ‘We know nothing about a ceasefire with the Taliban.’ And, the Taliban said they know nothing about a ceasefire."
"He then talked about negotiations with the Taliban. And again, his own diplomats said we know nothing about any ongoing talks with the Taliban."
"The president canceled talks with the Taliban last September if you recall after they were engaged in a violent incident."

Came across an article saying Trump is the first President to not visit the troops. No matter what he does, they gripe out it.
Juan is he ‘token’ liberal on that show.

Here in Golden Valley Az we have a pizza place called Great American Pizza. At this place they often have conservative/Trump rallies for those of us who cant get to the real deal. The last one was a dandy. I stopped to pick up a Tee shirt for a friend (the one where Trump is pissing on CNN) and I talked to a reporter from the NYT no less. Told the dude that if his paper DID NOT stop with the shit stirring a lot of HIS people will enter these rural areas at their own risk of life. Told the dude to pass it on.
He asked me why. I told the dude to get the hint. The rural people have had it with your smarmy crap and looking down your noses at us. This president is doing what he promised us and your people are standing in his way. Since your doing that, I told him, that means you are back slapping us.

Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. You will miss Sarah Carter, Solomon, DeGenova, Andy McCarthy, Victor Davis Hanson et al. When Juan Water Carrier Williams is on just put it on mute.
Personally, I think Juan is simply paid to be the “leftist antagonist”. He can’t really believe some of the nonsense he’s spouting. It probably pays pretty well.
I just discovered “The five” on youtube about six months ago. I didn’t even know who Juan was before that. I honestly just see him as a form of method actor and don’t take him seriously at all. He’s even kinda fun sometimes, especially when he’s forced to support the unsupportable.
