Google’s strategy is to push just enough that they hamstring conservatives as much as possible but not enough that everybody cuts and runs to an alternative platform and they lose all their influence.

________________________________________________

What alternative platform could we run to? Just recently Gab tried to upstart Fakebook. They failed.

I remember when YouTube first began. It was great. It was successful. It worked.

Then Google just bought the entire site. 1.65 Billion dollars. In 2006. Chump change.

“Do you actually need an ad to vote Trump? LOL”

True that. Google & Youtube will matter minutely. Trump’s Tweets, rallies, black outreach and Hispanic outreach are mattering much. As for white women - an unpredictable mess, that.

But the report gives no specific reason why the ads were taken down or what company policy they violated.

They were too effective and/or accurately refuted the DemRAT narratives.

This policy must only apply to conservatives. It seems that very other time that I play a music video on Youtube, I have to sit through a Bloomberg ad before it plays—and it’s always one of those short ones that you can’t skip.

Any reporters associated in ANY way, even if any of these companies are former employers, they should be banned from the WH.

Somehow we have to fight back. Our comments are just echo chambers.

Who thinks that Trump will have any access to any sort of internet or network advertising by next June? That will make a real difference in November if the only ads people hear and see are SocialDemocrat. And the banks will probably be pulling the plug on conservative organizations so that Republican money will have no place to be based. The Republicans do not seem to be concerned about this in the least, perhaps secretly applaud it.

When quizzed on why the ads were pulled, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki said some of videos were “not approved to run,” before deferring any further questions to Google’s online transparency report, which keeps an archive of political ads.

I believe Federal election law requires companies to air ads for a Federal election. They aren't allowed to say "no." They aren't allowed to refuse to run ads approved by a candidate.

I believe your belief is wrong.

“network advertising “

If it is under FCC they have to air the ads.

I believe your belief is wrong.

Not wrong, just perhaps not applying to these internet bastards. We need to make it apply to these internet bastards.

(a) The Commission may revoke any station license or construction permit –

(7) for willful or repeated failure to allow reasonable access to or to permit purchase of reasonable amounts of time for the use of a broadcasting station, other than a non-commercial educational broadcast station, by a legally qualified candidate for Federal elective office on behalf of his candidacy.

FB, YOUtube, Google Twitter are online companies providing a method for the public to communicate.. They sell access to post comments or “communicate” as do phone companies. That makes them public utilities and they should be enjoined from deleting comments except those which are threats against the lives of others or attempts to violate the law.
