That’s right.

I think it’s possible they might settle for some type of censure. What do you think?

The bastards have dug themselves a deep hole.

And a House censure means what?

Senate should take this and if anyone, especially leadership, reject testifying, immediately vote to dismiss the entire impeachment.

A rebuttal report before the majority’s report? Now they’ll have to rebut the rebuttal, and the minority can rebut their rebuttal of their preemptive rebuttal. Devin has got game.

Schiff, Nancy and Nadler’s butts will hurt when the dust settles.

To sum up this issue, the Democrats are conspiratorial traitors, attempting a supposedly legal coup against the President of the United States. I dare call it treason!!

I’d like to see that, too. But I think the House can stop it from going to the Senate.

A censure means little. It says they found the president being a bad boy but broke no laws.

The Trump presidency was not the “will of the American people.” It was the will of the members of the Electoral College who cast their votes in Trump’s favor. It was a sign of his business sense that he figured out which states to emphasize so he could win when receiving a minority of votes by the American people. He had years of putting together shaky deals and successfully manipulated banks when he had very little available money. I just wish I could be sure that he is using Putin, and not the other way around.

Regarding the need for evidence, unfortunately President Trump provides some every time he opens his mouth or tweets. Did we not just hear him urge China to investigate Biden corruption? Even if it is a joke, that is only fit for a TV show, not the presidency. He demeans the presidency and the USA with that kind of stuff and I’m sure makes Comrade Putin very happy. By making a joke of our political processes he is also encouraging the worse instincts of some of his most ardent supporters.

The trial in the Senate has nothing to do with impeachment in the House. It is completely separate.

No, the day the Supreme Court dictates how the House or Senate should run its chambers is the day the republic dies. The Supreme Court does not interfere in how each chamber conducts its affairs and it should never ever do so.

Did the SC interfere in the Senate rule that a bill needs 60 votes to pass. No. I could go on but the principle should be clear. Did the Supreme Court interfere with the House rule that during committee hearings, each Rep gets 5 minutes of questioning? No. What if a Rep gets upset because they want 10 mins per questioning period. Do they sue and take it to the Supreme Court

Has the Supreme Court interfered as to how many Reps or Senators are seated in a committee? No and that is one the most contentious and partisan issues every two years. How many committee members and the mix is fought tooth and nail by both parties. I could go on and on and on.

Impeachment rules are no different and the SC shouldn't and won't intervene. Each branch is co equal and the SC can't dictate to the House its own impeachment rules.

It's political and the SC knows if the voters don't like how the House is run, they can be voted out which is the appropriate remedy.

I believe the evidence they are referring to is nothing more that a bunch of deep state (bureaucrats) operatives that have a butt hurt.

Like the first few paragraphs say, these Demonrats have been fostering impeachment since PDJT was elected.

I am not sure where we go if impeachment does happen because I still do not trust our senate goons to do much better. They are about as trust worthy as a basket of rattle snakes

Reading it and so far they have hit the nail on the head.

Bunch of butt hurt asswipes that need to be removed from our country for trying to overthrow our elected president by un-elected bureaucratic manipulation.

The Democrats in the House should be held personally financially responsible for the cost of the impeachment hearings. Can President Trump sue these rats for libel?
