I assume Barr as AG could get access to SDNY records regarding their contacts with Democrats in Congress. Of course they are probably covering their tracks with “drug dealer” burner phones there, too. But maybe not.

With the help of a Senate majority, the number of Trump appointed judges is approaching 170. We are on the verge of possibly reversing judicial nonsense for a generation or two.
This is no time to rock the boat for trivial reasons. We have no Senators to spare and we should treat them well and give them no reason to become resentful or unsupportive.
If McCain were still around and we needed his vote to confirm a replacement for Ruthie, I would bite my tongue so hard it would bleed.
