In that mix, they have a woman and a gay man. Seems pretty diverse to me. But I guess they are focused on race.

Give it a minute or two and pocahontas will come up with a black forefather.

“In that mix, they have a woman and a gay man. Seems pretty diverse to me. “

I read an article explaining that the Democrats were seeking the candidate with the greatest amount of “intersectionality.” Intersectionality is the varying degrees of being held down by “The Man.” A black man has some degree of Intersectionality, but a gay black man has two degrees. A black, gay, woman would have more intersectionality. Past that point it gets confusing. Does a black, gay, trans-man have more intersectionality than a white, gay trans-man? Well, obviously, but suppose he’s up for points against a black, female, Hispanic? This is when the fur starts to fly. He/she will complain that the BFH has no idea how badly he was treated by “The Man” and can’t possibly compare her experiences with his/hers.

I hope this helps explain why there is a total lack of “diversity” at the Democratic debates. (You’re welcome. :)
