Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D. N.Y., said Tuesday she plans to vote against a bill put forward by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that would allow the government to negotiate lower prices on prescription drugs.
Ocasio-Cortez and other liberal lawmakers have been urging Pelosi for months to make the bill more progressive and have threatened to delay the bill without the changes, including making negotiated drug prices available to those without insurance, Politico reported.

Tucker Carlson showed films of her district on his show last night. It looked like a dump with trash everywhere, broken down, rusty fences, etc. The guest interviewed about the situation also said it was known for prostitution and sex trafficking. H-m-m-m. Seems a little hypocritical since Cortez is all about the “Green New Deal” which would bankrupt our nation. I would think her first act in office would be to help the home folks by doing some cleaning up to create a safe environment in her own district.
What a crazed demonrat help others? Uhhhhhh, not going to happen.

Apparently, AOC has not grasped the scratch-mine-I-scratch-yours, transactional nature of how politics works. I hope she is a one-termer. But, if not, she will be worth much popcorn for however long her career lasts. Then she will retire to a lobby company and be a CNN contributor. Before long she will be a multimillionaire.
