Even in English there’s a versions of this — “my back was against the wall” which doesn’t imply a firing squad. Her explanation is plausible and if you read the whole quote it’s pretty clear she’s not saying they should be shot.
The left constantly interprets our guys dishonestly to score cheap points and I totally get wanting to fight fire with fire. But in this case she’s right and I’m not going to play that game.
Thats what came to mind when I first read it.
How did this Swedish demon travel from Madrid to Turin?

You know, I think this smug little Leftist punk wouldnt mind stomping a few throats.
too late- her hateful little heart has been exposed- the ONLY reason she is apologizing is because of the negative blowback- it’s a typical liberal FALSE APOLOGY!
Not accepted Scoldilocks!
You made your point, Greta! Now go home and get a proper education!

BS! Liar!
Did someone pull the wrong strings on the marionette?
Do not dare to criticize Greta. She is a child! For shame! /s

Promulgators of #FakeScience should but put up against the wall.
I won’t be apologizing or taking that back.
"This is not who I am."
Considering the history of Europe, it’s hard to believe that putting people against a wall means anything other than executing them with bullets.
We know what the expression means, Greta. That’s why we are well armed and keeping our powder dry.
She accidently let the cat out of the bag. She blurted out the truth.
