This is weaponization of the mentally ill for political purposes, just like transgenders.
She has severe anxiety, OCD, and Aspbergers. She fixated on the environmental creed, and she admits she feels better telling others what to do in order to save the world. (It is common for the severely anxious to try to impose order on the world rather than treat their own anxiety.)
This makes her a passionate spokesperson for the movement. She BELIEVES in it. She has no life outside of it.
She’s also a great spokesperson/human shield. Looks 7, sounds 27. If someone criticizes her, they can be shamed for: attacking a child, attacking the mentally ill, being mean to a woman. She was picked up by liberals in power who saw her single minded dedication and passion. And they fueled her astroturf movement.

Her parents are involved. The girl has had eating disorders for years. She’s had selective mutism. She has refused to eat and speak until her parents quit their jobs that required traveling (theater and opera). Now they had no income. This made them perfect stage parents for a mentally ill child activists - they have no other support.
She’s not alone. This worldview is backed by systemic power. And they’re teaching all our kids this K-college.

I don’t think it ever became the systematized ‘movement’ that we see now; but it seems that every generation is facing some kind of ‘apocalypse’.

Environmentalists have appropriated a lot of Christian dogma. That a world without people or without the unbelievers of Mother Earth will be a Garden of Eden. And a world that doesn’t repent and submit to the Mother Earth worshipers totalitarian system will suffer famine, plague, pestilence and death. Air turned to ash, the seas to acid and set boiling.
They’re the worst of the religious extremism while denying they’re a religion.

My FRiend I’m a veritable walking Wiki Pedia on The Holocaust. Even knew a man who survived Auschwitz. He survived only because he was 16 and strong. His father, mother, two sisters , aunts and uncles were all killed. He even showed me the numbers tattooed on his left fore arm.
