I think soon we're going to need the French.. That is to say, those that are really French..
You know what people say about those who live in glass houses.... :(
Ahhh YES!!!
Talking about chickens coming home to roost!
‘Sucker’ people in for years promising them a HUGE pension in exchange for low wages.
(UN)Social Security comes to mind....WE will just take xxxx of your pay and put it aside for you.
WE PROMISE to never use it for anything but the DONORS retirement. (Forgot to mention that you can’t draw to 65 and records show that many people that expect it will probably be dead at 64 or so)
(AL GORE & his ‘lock box’)
Yes the FED also warned (after finding out that people lived longer and they found how to ‘dip’ into it) that it was only supplemental.
Remember when the ‘donations’ cut off way way before a hundred grand (RR ‘suckered’ us into that one - telling all that the people were paying NOTHING between 30(?) and 100 thousand so we are gonna get them...HOWEVER, working class never caught up again)
Then people were retiring from other jobs with pensions then working enough hours to get into the FICA SS program etc etc.
Like ‘they’ are wont to say....SOCIALISM works as long as their is plenty of OPM, when that dries up, forget about it.
Of course, those that distribute the money ALWAYS manage to keep enough for themselves and their ‘closest crooked friends’.
Let ‘em eat cake ....
Dont forget that this source of pension money is the government. Any chance that France has done an even worse job than the US has with our Social Security???
LOL
PEOPLE LIVE TO 100 TODAY!! :)
So they’d be on govt retirement funds a THIRD of their life
that’s not sustainable with an early 60s retirement age
Probably not sustainable with a LATE 60s retirement age.
Especially with low-growth socialist economies.
Capitalism is the only system that might stand a chance of keeping them in the style to which they’ve become accustomed.
Idjits.
True!
They should ask for retirement at 35 :)
