We had cap guns when we were kids. They were a must if you were going to play cowboys, and indians. We also used to take the rolls of caps, and hit them with a hammer on the sidewalk to make them explode. The local movie theater had cartoon jamborees on a Saturday morning every-so-often, and this one time my mother made my brother take me. He wasn’t too happy. They had a drawing for a Davy Crockett Rifle that shot rolls of caps, and I won it by the number of my ticket stub. My brother was livid because I am a girl. Back then it was like 15 cents to go to the movies. My mother would give us each a quarter, and we’d get our ticket, and have 10 cents left for a box of popcorn. Those were the days for us kids...simplicity, and sheer happiness, where we appreciated what we got at Christmas. We played Chinese Checkers, Checkers, Go To the Head of the Class, and Parchisi board games, and imbibed on penny candy from the corner store, and got comic books from another local shop that allowed us to trade in our old comic books toward the purchase of new ones.

The character Trent, played by Tyler Grey was an actual Army Ranger (sniper). Four deployments to Afghanistan, injured during a late night house raid in Baghdad left him 100% disability and discharged.
