What an ignorant comment. You can’t be that stupid.

If by "Presidential" you mean willing to let Liberal lying bastards walk all over him, then no, Trump isn't "Presidential" in the Nixon sense.
Sure, but there was no alternative media back then. Give or take National Review magazine . . .

The journalism cartel is a tough opponent now - back then it was (quietly) worse.

>>Trump plays from the gutter frankly.”<<

...and the swamp doesn't? Good grief!

It is because of Trump that the deep state swamp dwelling Warshington cartel has been exposed for the criminals that they are.

Translation: Nixon gave up and resigned rather than fight. Trump fights back. He even investigates his accusers.

Nixon participated in the coverup and lied about it. When I found out that he had lied to me I wanted him out too (voted for him twice). Trump has not done any such thing, that I'm aware of.

Yup. One of the things that made it worse is we didn't know they were constantly lying to us.

Brokaw needs a serious history lesson. Does he know anything about Andrew Jackson? How about Teddy R and his imperialism?

But let's get real serious about Presidents. “....Historians have said that during the campaign, Harding would take Britton into his office and sit her on his lap. That was before he took her virginity in a hotel room and later brought her to the White House for regular rendezvouses. “The fact that I was so ignorant seemed to add to his cherishment of me for some reason,” Britton later recalled....”

“....Historians have long disliked Harding for reasons other than his sexcapades. He presided over an administration unprecedented in its corruption, he rolled back Progressive-era reforms and he enacted racist immigration laws. In the rankings academics conduct every few years, Harding has averaged out as the worst president in American history. “After his death,” wrote a biographer, “his reputation plummeted so quickly that only with the greatest reluctance could a Republican successor be persuaded to dedicate his tomb.”....”

Then there was LBJ who whipped out his Johnson to show just about anyone and had women from the famous Texas Brothel the Chicken Ranch release stress while he was President and married to Lady Bird. Yes that was Presidential!

Come on Tom learn a little history!

To be fair, most historians right now are far leftists who love to claim that FDR saved America (he didn’t, actually), that we lost Vietnam (in reality, we won, but Democrat operatives snatched defeat from the jaws of victory), and basically hail Obama and Clinton as our greatest presidents. And let’s not forget that there’s some evidence pointing to Walter Cronkite orchestrating LBJ’s abdication from reelection.
