There was probably a time long ago when most news readers were at least minimally sane. —- and then we had an era where the news jocks had at least enough common sense not to so flagrantly reveal their rabid mental sickness ( and overt bigotry). Today, all bets are off. The inmates have taken over the lunatic asylum.

Nothing President Trump does will ever be good enough for the left. Because he is taking their power away. And all the left cares about is power.

Those of the left live and fight in the gutter. They fight for themselves. They despise The People and The Republic because both place limits on their lust for power.

President Trump is a fighter. He fights for The People and The Republic. And he is winning, even if he has to do it in the gutter. That means the left is losing; losing their power, and being revealed to the world as utterly depraved. The left hates President Trump for this.

We, The People and The Republic, need this man. He fights, and he wins!

Nixon benefited from the fact that there were conservative or moderate Democrats back then who preferred him to the alternative. Also, while intellectuals, artists, students and the usual people who make a career and a life out of liberalism or leftism hated and despised Nixon, that wasn’t a very large part of the population. Today, realignment means that a president of either party has a much larger jeering section.

Nixon was Republican and Presidential just like the elites and pointy head journalists wanted him to be. Where did it get him??? Every Republican President is categorized as dumb, unaware, and unfit for office. Trump just as well fight them in the gutter where they come from as opposed to allowing them to come up from the gutter and attack him.

The left has a predictable pattern of demonizing every Republican president or leader as a racist and a fascist until they are safely out of politics or dead. THEN, those former racists and fascists (Goldwater, Reagan, Bush I, Bush II, McCain) are pointed to as the gold standard compared to which TODAY'S Republican president or leader is a racist or a fascist. They are now even doing this with the much-reviled Nixon.

Trump violates the rule that Republicans are supposed to be smiling bobbleheads while the left calls them every foul name in the books. And the media regard it as their privilege to make up derogatory nicknames for politicians (e.g., Tricky Dick, Ronald Ray Gun, Shrub (Bush II), Cheeto Head) and Trump is horning in on their territory.

The nasty Trump isn't as nasty as his critics, who use every slander and every foul epithet they can come up with, and they do it in public and on national TV
