According to my dictionary “retaliate” means “To return like for like,” or “Take revenge.” According to my Theasaurus other terms like “retaliation” include: vengeance, reprisal, punishment.

Could you please identify your resource for your definition and also what WORD you would use to describe it. General Blownapart initiated an attack on Americans at Benghazi and Again in Baghdad. Two foreign counties not his own.

Being blown to pieces was a reprisal, and he was a legitimate military target.

If Iran kills a bunch of civilians someplace they are not legitimate military targets engaging them in a foreign country, now are they?

You refuse to concede that the dipshit Jihadi was a military Target who was engaged in terrorism.

Oh it goes back waaaay before that. US-Islam relations go back to Barbary and Tripoli. It doesn't matter that those were a different group of Muslims, they all see themselves as a group in the struggle against these US.
