>He made a record. All you can do in the minority.

Oh? Guess he was BLOCKED/denied:
- Filing Ethics complaints?
- Calling out Nadler for denying the minority party their day of testimony?
- Calling out Schiff for his theatrics? Holding back testimony (likely exculpatory evidence)

I’m sure there are a handful of other House ‘tricks’ but, Like McTurtle in the Senate, they didn’t lift a damn finger.

“Leadership” should never be uttered in the same sentence along with ‘(R)N(C)’

How did it work for FDR — more than two terms? (It did happen, right, or am I hallucinating?)

The 22nd amendment was added to the Constitution after FDR died. AOC recently claimed it was to prevent FDR from being reelected.

1. Thanks for the info about 22nd Amendment.

2. Why couldn’t FDR have been re-elected after he died? Since RATs can vote after death, why can’t they run for elected office?

Not only RATS vote while dead, but also Republicans, after they’ve switched parties in the afterlife.

As for ethics complaints, they don’t happen on TV.
He did call out Nadler and Schiff.

I’m hoping he has another diabetic coma while presenting his case and collapses.

In 2024 he should run as VP.

Heads would shred.

“Of course if PDJT wins reelection and the dems retain control of the House there will be more impeachments forthcoming.”

If that happens Trump will be impeached three times daily on charges of not eating breakfast, lunch and dinner at the proper times with additional charges such as buttering his toast on the wrong side. The media will ask probing questions such as, “Speaker Pelosi, how shocked were you when you first learned that the president of the United States had actually eaten sardines at six AM?

“I don’t know how dems are not hanging their heads in shame at what they have done and what they are doing.”

You may as well ask why a buzzard is not ashamed to eat roadkill.

Disqualification is a potential punishment upon conviction, and the House cannot dictate the punishment.

“Called out” &, time after time, failed to follow-through w/ any ACTION.

What action can the House Minority Leader take? He can submit an ethics complaint, he can leak stuff, and he can jump them in the men’s room and give them a wedgy. Maybe he did all that. Maybe not. The ethics committee, for that matter, rarely does anything but whitewash, and giving Nadler a wedgy is probably more of a punishment for the wedge-or than the recipient. But his oratory is part of the Congressional Record for 2020, and can be quoted in campaign ads and literature. And it was good oratory.

Yep, cuz when it comes down to it, it’s the flowery bloviation instead of ACTIONS that that show the electorate “Here’s how we’re keeping govt responsible to YOU” that *really* matter. SMH.

Flowery bloviations often do lead to actions. Would England have stood firm without Churchill’s rhetoric? Would the Union have continued fighting without Lincoln’s? Sometimes powerful rhetoric accomplishes nothing, but without it, nothing ever gets accomplished. We’re in a cold CW2, it’s been said. Very well. I’d rather have the powerful rhetoric than be without it in a CW2, cold or otherwise. The other side can’t even manage humor, let alone rhetoric. Would you rather have Adam Schiff putting fire in your belly? “Forward! Cliff? That’s no cliff! Forwaaaaaaaaaar*splat*!”

Presumes facts not in evidence.

1) We *might* be in a cold CW I (the War Between the States != Civil War)
2) If it’s the milquetoast @ best (R)N(C) you’re looking to put ‘fire in your belly’, while they stab you in the back & hide under their desks from the MEDIA (they can call ‘em bad names), you’ve lost the war, not just the battle.

Maybe in the next few decades, the (R)N(C) will *FINALLY* getting around to that party platform & eliminate the DoEd, instead of growing it (’small govt’ that they are)

“Forward, voluntary (R) plantation shills! Don’t fire until....well, never, actually!” *rolls eyes*

Next you’ll be telling me to ‘trust the plan’ w/ the 3yrs+ ‘investigation’ into the Deep State...BY the Deep State
