There is no way VA will recover from the mess it is in today
The only way out is for all counties west of I-85 and the rural counties between I-85 and the Atlantic to join with West Virginia.
Perhaps if those counties get to the point of finalizing the merger, the idiots in Richmond will back down, but I doubt it.

That was my beef with the Bundy stand off. Guys came out brandishing weapons to prevent a ranch seizure, but in the end never used them. Carrying, concealed or otherwise, should be serious personal statement of intent.

I Probably should have said I-95 to Petersburg but from there the line should go more northerly to leave the counties infested with libs to the east.There really is no major highway that could be used and it would need to be a county by county thing.
The point rI intended to make is that Richmond, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, DC, Alexandria, Fairfax and their ilk are a lost cause.
Now if President Trump would move more of the bureaucracies to remote posts, many employees would quit and would sell their houses in Charlottesville, Fairfax, and the beautiful horse country and VA could return to its old gracious self.
