I do amuse myself with such things, but honestly I have family in PR.
This whole protest is a PR debacle for the 2nd amendment. Setting up a protest by mainly white men on MLK is pure idiocy UNLESS it was designed that way.
It is taylor made for the MSM to shout racism.
Don’t act like food, don’t give the opfor ammunition.
How do you know there’s only going to be mainly white men at the protest? Women legally own guns too. And so do people of other races. And the press will label it racist anyway...that’s a given. White nationalists, white supremcists, etc. Who really gives a crap what the media says? I certainly don’t. If the people in Virginia want to protest what’s going on there, they have the right to do so. The Governor is the one who has overreacted here, not the protesters who haven’t even had their march yet. You seem to want the marchers to placate the media and Governor Northam, to appease them. That’s the last thing they should do.
My thought originally, but asked as a question. It was to remind voters of Northam’s past hijinks—including KKK.
Seems a recall of Northam (D-VA) would be easier than a recall of Gov. Newsom. (D-CA)

And more rural than not
Yes, other groups own guns. But for the 2nd Amendment Movement, the most vocal group is going to be white men.
Blacks can and do own guns, but let’s be honest, the most active users of such do not get them legally. Hispanics own guns, but are pretty quiet about it. Women own guns, but are a small percentage and are often pressured to go anti gun by the rest of the soccer moms.
SO, with that set of facts, organizing a gun rights march on MLK day, in the city where the old Confederacy capital was, after governor Blackface issued an executive order banning.... well just about everything, not only screams of a set up at best (and totally tone deaf AT WORST), it will give team blue ammunition. Just like the Charleston rally did.
The press has talking points printed and ready, stating that White Supremacists attempted to restart the Confederacy on MLK day, leading to violence against minorities. Talking heads will be vomiting lines about how “hateful” the “mainly white” rally was on a “holy day to the African American community”.
And that is if there is no violence, which it seems like governor black face is not only preparing for, he is planning on.
This rally is a trap. Go if you must, but realize that. It is fly paper.
A better suggestion would be to stage a protest on ANY OTHER DAY, and make dang sure you have some non white male talking heads to parade in front of microphones and cameras. Right now, the national press is protraying it as a bunch of angry racist men, and saying “This will not play well with suburban moms!!” And it won’t.
In short, we need to start playing the game. Gov. blackface got a pass. Find out what other dirt is on him. Try to reach out to nomially team blue groups and teach them to shoot. Most minorities get told by their leaders “White man wants guns so he can shoot your sons!”
I have heard it. Seen it, and been told it. So.. locally we started up a trap team, taught pistols to young mothers, and are working to make gun rights a non ethnic issue.
We will see what happens on Monday.

They should, as always, be the first to be disarmed and regulated as hell. No full auto for them either. And anywhere a civilian can’t take a weapon neither can they, especially behind metal detectors.
