Why Are Our Children Shooting Each Other in School?

"The silicon chip inside her head gets switched to overload..."

Some of you might remember those lyrics from the song "I Don’t Like Mondays." It was written in 1979 by "sir" Bob Geldof, who was in a new wave band called The Boomtown Rats. Geldof wrote the song after learning about an elementary school shooting that had occurred in a quiet suburb in the city of San Diego, Calif.

In January of that year, 16-year-old Brenda Lee Spencer killed the principal and a custodian and wounded eight children and one police officer when she opened fire on the Grover Cleveland Elementary School with her .22-caliber rifle. Spencer fired from inside her house, which was located across the street from the school. During the shooting, a local reporter talked with Spencer over the telephone and asked her why she was doing it. Spencer said, "I just don't like Mondays...this livens up the day."

Geldof went onto write the song and capitalized on the tragedy as the song hit #1 on the U.K. charts, but it was widely criticized and even banned on many U.S. radio stations.

This particular shooting certainly wasn’t the first of its kind. If you conduct any type of search for school shootings and stabbings, you’ll discover there are many documented incidents that go back at least a century. The exception with this particular case is that the shooter was female.

Through statistics and profiling by many research institutions and by law enforcement, we know that over 95% of school shooters are male and, typically, white.

Psychology Today posts these statistics:

Satan removed the Bible, prayer, and the Constitution from schools.

This is what’s Left.

The computer principle GIGO explains this case. The constant negativity we are fed from TV, school teachers and local protests weigh heavily upon the young impressionable mind. They are told we have only 11.8 years left before the world ends . . . somehow. Orange Man bad is out to get us. And fellow classmates are walking time bombs plotting to sniper them out any day now. This steady bombardment takes a toll on the psyche.

Because we live in a culture of death. People shove God out in pride, the oldest sin, through desire for control making themselves God and the only thing they really have control over is death.

The root is birth control. Which is euphamized from birth prevention.

Well, when the court says that killing infants is okay it is not a great leap. When a society is permitted to kill the most innocent and defenseless within it, that society is capable of committing any atrocity.

Liberals. It is rare to happen in a conservative area. Look at murder rates in Lib cities........trickle down crime, from the corrupt mayors all the way down.

My children haven’t shot anybody in school, none of my friends children have shot anybody in school and no one I know has a child that has shot or been shot in school.

I guess we should fall in line with the idea “it takes a village”?

False narrative leading to a pragmatic conclusion designed to blame culture rather than individuals.

If the powers that be tell us “settled science” has determined we are no more than pond scum, we should be terminated if we are not convenient, and we’re all gonna die in less than a dozen years anyway, why not?

Take God out of the schools and this was predictable.

A school is just a building. It's removing love of God and fear of God from the people who use the building that causes things like this.

Ya know that screaming child throwing a temper tantrum in the Wal-Mart toy section? That’s your 17 year old with a gun shooting up his school.

IMHO two reasons; they do not let boys be boys anymore, can’t fight over a girl or learn to lose a battle as well as win; guy beats the tar out of you, you learn from it. 2nd - video games, they can practice killing and killing and killing with no blood and no consequence.

Birth control is a euphemism for birth prevention.

Birth control. Is a misnomer. We can’t control birth. We can only prevent it.

We are told we have control over it, a lie we can either believe or reject. Once gestation happens the only control over birth people have is through killing.

Preventing gestation is also birth prevention. It doesn’t necessarily align with the culture of death, where it doesn’t, it fits in with natural law. It depends on the reason.

Oh. And there are No moms at home. No one’s home.

A baby who spends his day in pure grief looking for his mom has a more than likely chance of growing up emotionally injured.
