In response to potential health risks; and anticipating multiple agency aspects of the U.S. government would need a unified approach; President Trump has assembled a unified task force to coordinate all response efforts across the totality of government.
President Donald J. Trump announced the formation of the President’s Coronavirus Task Force. Members of the Task Force have been meeting on a daily basis since Monday. At today’s meeting, which the President chaired, he charged the Task Force with leading the United States Government response to the novel 2019 coronavirus and with keeping him apprised of developments.

I've been one of many who's been calling for Trump to stop all Chinese nationals from entering our country until we've gotten a handle on the massive Chinese espionage rings that infest our universities, and several of our vital industries. That's a problem we've needed to be far more aggressive and active getting a hold on. We should have already put into place strict restrictions on Chinese nationals, and limited the number of Chinese nationals to only the ones we REALLY need, and don't believe to be involved in spy rings, or influence campaigns, etc.
If we had already been taking more aggressive actions against the Chinese like we should have been doing for other reasons, it would have put us in a much better situation now. Trump needs to stop all Chinese nationals from entering our country, until this virus, along with Chinese spying, is under control.

China is shut down right now.
It’s not like we’re doing business with China.
Their stock market is off line for at least 2 weeks (will likely be much longer, peak infections in beijing are expected to hit sometime in March/April).

The CDC has had its knickers in a twist since the budget bill that didn’t grow their budget at the former rate it had under Obama.
Having watched 3 (so far) agencies in the swamp try to take down a lawfully elected sitting president, I fully expect the rest to do the same using any means possible.
Next they will say Trump caused it because he put too much pressure on the Chinese people and it made them eat bats. They went batty.
Chinese nationals travel to every continent. If such a national is infected, there will be others not Chinese who become infected.
If POTUS has thought it was necessary to close down all traffic of Chinese nationals into the US, he would have done so. But he was briefed that the screening tech works very well and it is being applied in China and around the world including at key US airports to all persons asymptomatic or not and in foreign airports.
It is not necessary o shut down the world to stop the spread of the virus as long as technology exists to help screen it.
People get whipped up into hysteria and want to shit the world down because they don’t know the details.
The President is getting advised by people in the know at the CDC and they have persuaded POTUS to take a measured response, not a draconian response.
Of course, listening/viewing press enemies, their headlines and BS rants will make us all believe that POTUS is doing nothing and we’re all going to die -— Trump’s Fault!
Many nations stopped air traffic to/from China. UK, Finland and others who have only a handful of cases so far.
If our number of cases explodes because we waited to stop travel and allowed infected Chinese into our tourists areas, Trump will deservedly get the blame.

Yes they did and then when the screening technology was put into operation they resumed traffic.
Things are not static.
What is much more dangerous is our fake news getting a lot of our neighbors all worked up over something they know so little about and which the fake news will not inform them properly of.
There were educate people who believed that WW I was a good thing because it got rid of the excess humanity. I suppose they might have looked on the Spanish Flu as a G-dsend, except they had already died in WW I.
Viruses are a life form, too. Shouldn’t they be entitled to come here and collect welfare? Shouldn’t we care about that spark of divinity inside each little bacteria and virus. For that matter, plants are also a life form. Maybe we should stop eating them.

If they travel, yes, they are screened. Other than that, if they are on US soil and have been since the outbreak, they are likely not infected.

The airline that brought out the 200 Americans from China to Alaska to March AFB in Riverside County, Calif, is owned by Connie Kalitta. KALITTA AIR is a cargo carrier.
Connie is well known by the drag racing community as the long time owner of Top Fuel Dragsters. Shirley Muldowney got her big break in one of Connie’s cars. His nephew, Doug Kalitta still drives for Connie.
Connie has been flying Military supplies to the Middle East for years. When those planes return from there, I have been told that Connie flies back American coffins to DC free of charge.
The plane shown on ABC this AM is a cargo plane that had seats installed to make the trip. I have no doubt that he would go ‘rescue’ Americans wherever Trump asked him to go.
