More than likely Collins made a deal with a red state democrat so she could vote yes and they can vote no. I’m not sure on Manchin, I don’t think he plans on running again. Does anyone know when his term is up?

Manchin’s term is up in 2024...but there have been rumors he’s thinking of leaving the Senate for a run at the governorship.
