In what may be a Super Bowl record, the NFL managed to make viewers angry with 30 minutes to go before the Super Bowl 2020 kickoff with a new commercial set to Johnny Cash’s “Ragged Old Flag.” The three-minute ad followed Medal of Honor recipient Kyle Carpenter and other members of the military as they reflected on their service, but not everyone came away with good vibes. While the NFL’s “Ragged Old Flag” ad didn’t specifically mention Colin Kaepernick, many viewers felt that the commercial was a way of throwing some not-so-subtle shade at the former San Francisco 49er. As one viewer put it, “That ragged old flag bit was the stinkiest propaganda piece I’ve ever seen.”

They had four 100-year old WW II vets present for the coin toss. The NFL is trying to leave Kaepernick in it’s rearview mirror faster than a twenty-dollar hooker that was just dropped-off.

What sensitive b.tches
I stayed behind the games time about 15 minutes so I could fast forward the commercials I didn’t want to hear :)
It was only me and one other person and with your cell phones off I wasn’t going to get a spoiler.
Actually my friend told me we could FF through the commercials.
I thought you were forced to watch them.

I would like it to be much more than a slap in the face.

I would like it to be much more than a slap in the face.It was a kick in his rear, refreshing and deserving.

They know that half or more of the country had no use for Kaepernick, but they think no one should be allowed to disagree with them and criticize him. Every day they reveal their totalitarian leanings.

"..."Ragged Old Flag” Super Bowl 2020 Spot Under Fire: “A Slap in the Face” to Colin Kaepernick...They say that like it's a bad thing.
Personally, with the NFL, it is the constant pandering that bothers me, when it isn't outright and open Leftism.
And I am a football fan.

Hands down, best ad for the Super Bowl.

Of course! That was the obvious purpose. And as such, it should be applauded—if unnecessarily late.
