When i was a child I lived in Yokohama. It was an interesting place. I remember the honey bucket man that would come around and gather the honey (excrement) from the holding tank. He literally had two buckets that sat on each end of a pole that he carried on his shoulder. He would go from house to house gathering his product. In addition, the public urinals along both sides of the street that serviced both men & women, fascinated me as a 5 year old. 8>)

Hubby lived there as a Navy brat in the late 50s and he’s got some crazy stories about his time in Yokohama.
