Yeah.

The McCabe escape was depressing.

I am trying to see this in the long run, but letting these people off the hook will mean it will happen again.

And next time, they well may succeed.

Ben Franklin, when asked what the Founders had made at Independence Hall, replied, “ A republic, if you can keep it.”

I don’t think we can.

Hopefully because the bigger case can be made on FISA and his role there.

Otherwise we know that the critters control the outcomes, and like many other investigations they are all theater to protect the vast majority of corrupt pols on both sides.

Why do you assume McCabe escaped?

The determination was made to fight the battle on higher ground rather than waste time and resources

The jury is still out on Barr. He still is the only person in America who thinks Epstein killed himself and all those cameras shut themselves off.

"The McCabe escape was depressing."

If..., and it certainly is a big if, the deep state is properly caught and found guilty of the coup against Trump and his campaign, this particular crime by McCabe will be nothing in comparison. As did Clapper, Comey, Brenan, Holder and more, senior Obama officials have lied under oath and gotten away with it. The crimes committed in spying on President Trump and his campaign are far-far worse. "Some might call it treason."

It is quite understandable that a DC jury might convict Republicans, and acquit Democrats that committed the same crime. That's not right, but it's a fact. The same DC jury might easily acquit McCabe and send Stone to jail for a decade for the same crime. And the Swamp media would herald both sentences. That's a different problem to fix.

The problem at hand is much more important: punish the Coup Plotters. A McCabe trial should not interfere with that.

Listening to Gowdy now who seems to downplay DOJ not prosecuting McCabe. He claims that he was just guilty of leaking to improve his credibility. No mention of the fact that he lied to the FBI at least three times under oath. That should be indictable, especially given the treatment of Flynn, Papadopoulos, and Stone. Worrisome concerning Barr who may be trying to run out the clock before the election.
