Wouldn’t surprise me IF Chuckie was the one that came up with the idea of letting the Chinese steal it to start with. These people are pure evil manifested in the flesh. They care NOTHING about America or her People....only their own personal and communist party gain of power.

They can't have it both ways. You open the borders, don't complain if anybody with coronavirus or whatever just walks in with no record whatsoever anywhere.

I think at this point its a wait and see sort of thing.
The Trump administration is damned if they do, and damned if they don’t.
They quarantine and restrict the travel and they get some liberal judge who makes a nationwide injunction preventing it from taking effect. etc.
There is more to this story that we are not being told. They know the source of the virus and won’t say.
It could be ugly, or it could be nothing in the US. It seems to pick up steam in shithole countries where sanitation and nutrition are lacking.

And I’m very disappointed in him....he used his head when the impeachment circus was going on. What happened? Today was just for show? Does he really think it’s up to our president? What about all the WORLD organizations that have a hand in things like this. Hey - how about the Clinton Global Health Initiative - one of their many FUND RAISING foundations....Let them come up with an answer!

I think that is the greater threat. The boy-who-cried-wolf syndrome. Every other year for the past generation we have been warned of an extinction level virus. One day we are going to have a real threat, but people won’t take it seriously.

I agree. He and his staff should know that questions will be asked about the potential scope of the problem in the US. There of course are no specific predictions possible, but he should have a quantitative range ready for each set of possible actions and funding levels. Anybody who has spent any time answering to a company board or oversight committee would know to expect that and be prepared.
I received one video several times last week by email regarding precautions to take - and the mask is the main one. The idea is anything that will keep hands/fingers away from mouth and nose!
Not the kind of masks that have openings/gaps on the sides. The ones that were shown as acceptable were like dust masks.. I have several new ones that I replaced when others got brittle and I threw them away. I had no idea they would be useful in situations like this. I was at the store today and while looking for something in housewares I saw several packages of the masks hanging there. Who knows they could come in handy so maybe people will want to put those in stock? Just a helpful hint.
I thought perhaps I’d see people wearing masks today but I didn’t. We have a large Asian population with Asian food/grocery stores and I bet the customers there are wearing masks.
