I wish our side fought this hard and dirty.

Judge Amy Berman Jackson is a co-conspirator in the effort to overthrow Trump. She will do everything in her power to punish those around him, and to further their collective goals. She will find that this juror was perfectly neutral and made her judgments based on the evidence and nothing else. /sarc

This question will remain until it gets to appeal and out of the hands of this Judge.

She said in a written questionnaire at the time that she did not remember ever posting about Stone or any other figures involved in the case.

“I was zeroed in about Roger Stone in responding to that question, but I still didn’t remember,” she said Tuesday.

...

The Hillary Clinton defense.

But how could she not remember?

Stone lawyers said they didn’t ‘google’ the jurors. Pathetic.

Yep. Justice only swings to the Left in this country. And Judge ABJ doesn’t stand for “All ‘Bout Justice”.

“Stone lawyers said they didn’t ‘google’ the jurors. Pathetic.”

Stone should have a retrial on that alone, i.e., that his attorneys provided deficient or inadequate representation. (I wonder how much money they made under the table by taking a dive in this case.)

“Judge Amy Berman Jackson is a co-conspirator in the effort to overthrow Trump.”

Consider that with impeachment over, Judge Jackson’s behind is hanging out on a limb. Her function was to take Mueller’s criminal referrals and make sure they got convictions. She now has to look for any excuse to put Stone behind bars. She’s already lowered the jail time to the level she thinks will prevent a Trump pardon.

I don’t care what she says.

What does the evidence say?

Stop that racism right now!

Judge Jackson holds a lifetime appointment to the Federal Bench. Absent an impeachment and a conviction, she can sit on the bench until the day she dies. Today, that question would be passed to the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee in the House of Representatives, Congressman Jerry Nadler. I don’t think that she is worried.

Correct. If she amends her previous affirmation she personally loses. Her only choice is to repeat the story she said before. But the evidence undermines the story. She can say she ‘forgot about that’, though it hardly seems plausible for a political activist in particular, it may prevent her from getting into her own legal troubles. This judge’s comments during sentencing that Stone was “covering up” for the President also shows bias in the court. The case was mostly about lying about perfectly legal activities.

The jury deliberated 7 separate charges in 8 hours flat. That hardly sounds like much deliberation at all. He was even convicted of witness intimidation, even though the witness - a longtime Stone friend - testified that he never felt any pressure from Stone. The jury deliberated this charge, and the other 6 charges, when the main witness disputes it? Hardly.

Stone should never have lied about the things he wrote and did because they were all perfectly legal. But 40 months in federal prison for lying about legal activities is way out of proportion.

"... she celebrated Stone’s arrest. "

From the linked article: She said in a written questionnaire at the time that she did not remember ever posting about Stone or any other figures involved in the case. “I was zeroed in about Roger Stone in responding to that question, but I still didn’t remember,” she said Tuesday.

What is the evidence that the juror "celebrated" Stone's arrest? What is it that the juror "still didn't remember" during the original questioning?

The linked article is shamefully ambiguous and if done intentionally constitutes "fake news".

Although I haven't followed Stone's case, I have read that he was supposedly convicted of "helping cover up for Trump", whatever that is supposed to mean. That would seem to mean that Trump qualifies as "a figure involved in the case". Did the Judge exclude jurors who posted negative opinions about Trump or didn't she? That seems to be a key question?

What am I missing here?

The only ones who get prosecuted for not remembering correctly are Conservatives.

The purpose of today’s hearing was to insulate the juror from legal prosecution.

Aaron Zelensky resigned from the case. He’s also been recently named as having withheld exculpatory information that appeared on 302 interview forms in the Popadopoulous case. Congressman Nunes says that criminal referrals could be forthcoming against Zelensky and others for withholding important information in the plea deal they made with Popadopoulous. If they withheld exculpatory info on Carter Page, and they withheld exculpatory info in Flynn’s trial, and they withheld 302 information in the Popadopoulous case, then it only stands to reason that they may have withheld exculpatory information in the Stone case as well. They’ve probably been doing that kind of stuff all along, and since they were never caught, believed they could continue to get away with it, especially in the DC Courts which have mostly liberal Judges sitting on them. These FBI/DOJ scumbags are nothing but dirty pieces of $hit...and I hope they hang.

She has to be considering what her position would be after Trump gets re-elected. If Bernie gets swamped the House could change hands. Her position is vulnerable.
