Panic buying strips store shelves as people stockpile amid coronavirus outbreak
There are a lot of people who are going to be wondering what to do with all of the cans of soup and rolls of toilet paper when this blows over. People love to pretend they're living in some Stephen King novel.

The media are hellbound,so they try to make everyone elses life here hell on earth.

I happen to make a Sam’s shopping run this AM, because it was time to do so.
Place was typically busy, with the usual items in carts.
So, no panic buying observed. This is N Ga.

I calmly and methodically bought extra food, some masks, rubber gloves and toilet paper over a span of two weeks about 3 weeks ago. Never panicked and certainly not now that I’m ready for whatever might happen. If it’s nothing I’ll use all the stuff I have. I’ll eat the food, use the tp and use the masks and gloves for painting and yard projects.

Daily Mail is extremely anti US and anti Trump. And getting more so it seems. Bloomberg’s effect?

In other news I went to order a second WaterBob (bathtub water storage) cuz I wanted to add one for the cabin. Could not find it in stock anywhere.
I ordered a different brand and it’ll be here Sunday or Monday.
Just information

Supplies have been flying off the shelves
I was in Aldi's yesterday and I did not see even one (1) item/product/package flying around.
Their shelves were fully stocked -- except boxes of plastic sandwich bags.

Oh wow, I do not pay attention to the media so I did not know they were doing this. I now believe there is a Media push for people to panic now.
I am not seeing this in my area. Friends are buying extra but not to that level.
I am stock up on food, but I purchase food last month. We normally keep food stock up for the late southern ice storms.

I wouldn't even touch stocks (or even gold/silver) before having food in these times,
That's just crazy. I'll starve clutching my gold/silver/stocks next to my cold dead body.

Tomorrow morning I’m going out to a nice breakfast and then panic buy all the way home. Just like every other weekend.

We should make up a new saying to describe this phenomenon: Barer than a store shelf in Cuba.
Yes Bernie, Im looking at you.
