Agree. The words of the Constitution and Bill of Rights show clearly the founding fathers intended judicial proceedings to be open and fair. They would be horrified to know Congress passed laws creating secret courts.

Secret courts are just park of the terrible legacy of George W. Bush.

I agree with all that. FISA is make work with the mission being to mislead the public. It is a sign of how our government views us.

That said, all warrants are obtained "in secret." The only time they are ever tested is if/when the government brings charges. My guess is that 1 out of thousand wiretap warrants or national security letters is ever known by the target. The 4th amendment only has value when one is criminally charged. It has zero force to curtail snooping outside of that context.

FISA is a direct violation of our 4th amendment. Restore our constitutional republic. Abolish secrete courts.
