This will be no worse than the flu as a matter of fact I believe this has been in the country since late November and people have already recovered thinking they had the flu!! I am certain some od our elderly have also passed away with hospitals and caregivers thinking it was complications from the flu!! This damn thing has been so overblown it s pathetic!!!!

There have been at least 22,000 flu deaths this season and less than 600 coronavirus death in the US so far.
If indications are positive, I don’t think they will (or should) give the drugs to those with no/mold/moderate symptoms, just those that whose immune systems are unable to fair on their own which would hopefully keep things manageable for hospitals.

Agreed. I think he’d have a better go with the economy under the circumstances (his policies prior to this are proven) than Italy’s situation. Tough to.strike a balance between the two.

This is the biggest issue with all of the 'shutdown' orders. They are being made by bureaucrats who have no skin in the game. Since their livelihoods are not at stake, they have a very blase view of the whole thing. Also, the decrees are being made with no indication of what, if any, criteria there is for removing them. Since bureaucracies have zero tolerance for blame, or risk, there is a very strong bias towards letting them run until the country is a complete basket case. (if it isn't already).
You'll always find fearmongers who will claim that any risk is too much. Amazingly enough, you find some of that here on FR as well. A lot more than I'd ever guessed.
