And I don't care if they're lined up six feet apart.
Isn’t that in Vermont?
Happened to me the other day when I wanted something to eat.
Went to the specialty store for hot pastrami. Line was too long at register...left.
Went to their other store....Ditto.
Went to Five Guys, which probably become One Guy by the time this whole thing is over...Line...Nope
Looked Chipotle next door...repeat.
Gave up and cooked some chicken...
I don’t live near Vermont but it is supposed to be nationwide. The directive just came down from corporate, or so my wife tells me.
we don’t need any help with Eau de Skunk at ours.
sometimes if you’re real unlucky, the odor lingers long after they leave.
Probably due to the Hobby Lobby push back.
Other stores, who sell ‘non-essentials’...although I considere sewing materials an essential...lol, are claiming it’s not fair for Walmart’s non-essential areas to be open, and not theirs.
I can see HL’s point.
But...I haven’t, and won’t, be going to ANY store for months.
“You can’t come in”

Just imagine the whole country’s reaction if an outbreak is traced back to a Walmart, employees included, and the battalion of lawyers screeching about Walmart’s failure to guard its employees’ health.
My hubs refuses to use the “Senior hour” several people told him they tried and it was hellish. So regular hours it is. So far no major delays or limited admissions.
Common sense is even less common now.
What a joke. This will not turn out well.
Need to have even and I days or some other method For your shopping. People don’t have enough to do in so they’re wondering around the Wal-Mart.
This is an Asian of children
ohio has.
A lot of stores are already doing this. In virginia, a lot of the “non-essential’ stores stayed open by limiting to 10 patrons at a time. MicroCenter had you text onto a list, and they’d text you back when you could come in.
Costco has been limiting customers, and set up a nice line for them with separation.
I have done this at the grocery story by going at times people aren’t there, I think there was 20 people in the store when I was in the store, and I don’t start down an aisle if someone is on it already.
WTH. This WAS America. Ill be damned if my usual Costco trip excludes this. :). Thanks for the chuckle. It has been a grim day for me wondering where out country is going...so reading your comment made me laugh :)
This was not thought through.
Now those people are optimists!
Just sent my daughter to a store other than Walmart. Other stores are going to be crushed by overflow from Walmart tomorrow. This is a real pain in the rear end. We just want some fresh veggies and cheap generic pop. We could do without, since there’s plenty in the deep freeze, but I want to save those things for a real crisis.
I spent a week making a list, before I went to the grocery. I never do that, but damned if I’m going to spend any more time in an infected hellhole than I have to — and you know that the essential stores are the most likely place to pick up the virus.
Because people suck.
A person starts feeling bad. They take their temp, and it is high. You and I, the next thing is we isolate, and call for a test. But most people, their next thing is, they are afraid they will get isolated, so they run to the store to pick up as much stuff as they can. They go through the store, coughing on their hands and people, touching everything.
I went last night. SPent twice as much money as usual for me. Was in full gear, including a hoodie and my face mask.
Got home, had my daughter wipe and put away food, I washed hands, ran upstairs, stripped, showered, and threw my clothes in the wash.
If things start looking bad here, I’m going to go to the asian market. People are nuts, and think that the asian market is infected.
Duh, Doesn’t that say it all.
