Certainly most cultures have moral provisions for fighting outsiders, but given that Christian societies have also found moral provisions for battles and crusades, I don’t think you’re making any case that belief in a Supreme Being is the genesis of the social contract.

I think you are something of a “philosopher” and this applies to YOU:
It’s often said that most of what the academic elites call “philosophy” is nothing but some underutilized minds worrying themselves about questions that common-sense folk find obvious.
