I’m fortunate enough to have a job I can telework. I’m still fully employed. Heck, I’m saving money on gas and lunches. I know more than a few of my neighbors are not working. You help your neighbors, they shouldn’t even have to ask. That’s how I was raised - hat tip to Mom & Dad, rest in peace.

Tell me about it. Landlord not covered in the Colorado no eviction policy as owns few than 10 units. If rent received 1 day late, eviction time. I’m boxing a lot of stuff to send “home”. From $10K a month down to 2.4K a month. (4.8K with the stimulus). Colorado is 4 to 6 weeks before 1st payment, according to an email they sent out. Approved, but 2nd week of May...I applied March 27 when we were given furlough notices.
I’m in a field where it’s impossible for an American to get another position. My inbox is full. 99.9% are Indian recruiters. As soon as I tell them I’m an American citizen, all interest disappeared and never hear back. They call us only to report to the USCIS that there are no qualified Americans to fill the position. Only American recruiter or company to reach out was interested, (former employer I worked overseas with but in the US) but they are in a hiring freeze until Coronavirus ends and Newsom lifts the ban.

A niece’s daughter started a trend in my small MS town of putting up decorated crosses. I think they had about 1200 the last count I saw. It spread to surrounding towns and several states—GA, AL, TN, CA, and TX. They are a symbol of Easter. Many have, “He is Risen” on them.
The new thing here is huge signs in the front yard stating....we are all going to be ok. I despise feel good crap.
That’s the ticket. Scare the virus with the funny lights. Brilliant! Why didn’t Fauci think of it?
