The IRS said over the weekend it has started sending coronavirus stimulus payment to eligible Americans who have direct deposit.
#IRS deposited the first Economic Impact Payments into taxpayers bank accounts today, the IRS announced in a tweet Saturday.
We know many people are anxious to get their payments; well continue issuing them as fast as we can.
The payments are part of the $2.2 trillion package passed by Congress at the end of March intended to help workers who have been laid off or furloughed and to give businesses a financial boost to offset the dire economic effects caused by the pandemic.

Taxpayers who dont use direct deposit will get checks, but that could delay the process by weeks. They never did give a form to fill out for direct deposit if you filed to have last year's refund snail mailed.

The IRS can and does find your bank accounts and witholds funds if they decide you owe them. No reason why they can’t find your account when it is you getting the money. Funny how that works.

If an American has a bank account funds can be directly deposited into it. EVERYTHING in banking is computerized and cross referenced to the gills. Why don't we pay banks to handle the vote?

Why don't we pay banks to handle the vote? Because they wouldn't get paid for doing it
and banks are all about getting paid/making money.

As the Forgotten Man I will not be getting a check.
But through coercion I will pay for others not to work, and later through inflation that will devalue the money they didnt already take from me.

Instead, they take a dollar to give you back half that. Not cool at all.
Way more/less than that. If you even get the freecash payment, that $1200 is costing you nearly $7000. They're taking a dollar and giving you maybe 15¢ back.

I haven’t received a direct deposit yet and I am on Social Security.
To: Bruiser 10
Since we are doing this, why not print a bunch of cash and pay off the foreign debt. Then all debt left over is owed to ourselves. It’s going to devalue the currency anyway. In about 8 years we will have hyper inflation.

Spend and enjoy your $1200 courtesy of the new Chairman of the Federal Reserve Donald J. Trump. He is firmly in charge of the Fed and is effecting a reverse wealth transfer from the financial elites back to the public. He’s giving you back some of your money at zero percent interest. This is all part of Trumps evolving plan to get rid of the Fed. Don’t worry be happy.

I read somewhere awhile back that these stimulus checks are actually an advance on next years refunds. We owe about $10k every year so my question is...if we get any stimulus (our income may prorate it) will it just be added on to next years taxes? If we owe $10k will we then owe $12,400? I haven’t seen that answered anywhere.
