Multiple mothers have had their children taken away from them as a direct result of working in the medical profession during the Coronavirus outbreak. Will these disturbing cases register with our political leaders, who are voicing public calls to stand with our medical workers during the pandemic? Additionally, NATIONAL FILE caught a Child Protective Services worker attempting to use the Coronavirus outbreak to suspend all visits for parents of a child in the government system, citing a statewide policy that the state government says does not exist. What is going on?
The Washington Examiner reports:
A divorced emergency room physician temporarily lost custody of her daughter because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Dr. Theresa Greene, a doctor in South Florida, previously shared custody of her 4-year-old daughter with her ex-husband, Eric Greene, but a judge granted an emergency order granting him sole custody until the ordeal is over, according to NBC Miami.
In the courts decision, Circuit Judge Bernard Shapiro wrote, In order to protect the best interests of the minor child, including but not limited to the minor childs safety and welfare, this Court temporarily suspends the Former Wifes timesharing until further Order of Court. The suspension is solely related to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Theresa Greene responded to the judges ruling by saying that the family court system now is stressing me almost more than the virus.
I was just shocked that the judge would take this stance without talking to medical experts and knowing the facts and take it so lightly, take my child from me, and not think of the effect on her, her mental and psychological well-being, she added.
The doctor noted that the custody battle will not stop her from following the oath she took to help people.

Stupid. The <19 year old infection rate is near nil. In Sweden and some other countries K-12 education was one of the areas NOT shut down.
Looks like an ugly custody fight just got uglier. Poor kid.
Infection rate can be high in kids...its just they dont have any symptoms. But point is protecting children from the virus should not be societys major concern.
So when this COVID emergency ends, this order ends immediately(?) or does she have to pay to restore her rights?
“...Dr. Theresa Greene, a doctor in South Florida, previously shared custody of her 4-year-old daughter with her ex-husband, Eric Greene, but a judge granted an emergency order granting him sole custody until the ordeal is over, according to NBC Miami...”
I’ll bet there is a lot more to the story than just what was in the article. I would assume they adults are not on good terms and almost everything they do revolves around the courts.
I do not know the home life in both households. The mother is a hospital worker and is exposed to the virus (maybe) during work. Who watches the child when she is at work? Is the father now working from home for the duration or still going out to work? Who would he have watch the child if he had to go out for work?
You would think the parents would focus on what’s best for the child instead of taking it to the courts.
My nephew is divorced. His ex-wife’s new husband is an ambulance driver who has had some kind of exposure to covid 19.
Therefore, as a precaution, his young kids(5 and 10) have been staying with him for almost a month now.
The ex, of course, agreed to this.
“Infection rate can be high in kids...its just they dont have any symptoms.”
“Infection” is massively less important than getting sick; and severly ill massively more important than a mild case of “flu” like symptoms.
I think there could be some quirk, maybe from childhood vaccinations (****) that has most <age 19 having sufficient immunities for the particular ways the Wuhan viru is fought off.
(****) A recent study showed that among those who do get a Wuhan virus infection, those who got a TB vaccinaton tend to have a mild or asymptomatic case more often than do those who do did not get a TB vaccination. Hmmmm?
Can we blame the judges for buying into the government-fueled hysteria? Not really.
Same of my friends are paramedics and law enforcement. At one point one of my cop buddies called my paramedic friend an ambulance driver in which he returned the favor by calling him the doughnut Patrol. Scott always took offense to the term as he was a firefighter and paramedic.
