I don’t understand this. Because most places are shut down the effect of clogging up the roads is like protesting on a Sunday.
Clog up the roads then go home. Who is scared, threatened or intimidated by this?
That’s the interesting part of this.
I’m not in Kansas but I tell you what, the traffic has been no less busy where I live now than it has ever been.
The only signs of anything “stopping” are the hospitals, Chinese Restaurants (not even take-out), sitting IN other restaurants and some stores have closed - although not all. Most are still open for business here.
Two weeks ago we drove past Walmart in my town & I swear it looked just like the Christmas season with people coming and going.
Of course, it’s Florida & it’s very likely that all the refugees from NY & NJ came here & didn’t self-quarantine like they’re supposed to. They are what brought the chinese virus to my county in the first place by attending, dancing & swimming at the resorts in large numbers (reportedly 200+ at a time) without any kind of mitigation or protections to be seen.

What I stated wasn’t opinion, it is fact and was reported widely in our area. Too bad you can’t accept that - you must be from New York or New Jersey and got offended. Too bad.
The fact remains - while businesses ARE closing, not all are closed. People are still OUT there going somewhere, coming from somewhere - and it doesn’t matter what day of the week it is.

I shop but only for things I really need..lol...but frankly, I feel like I don’t want to waste any money now.....my work is guaranteed but its been slow and staff asked to take voluntary days off..plus, April and October are big insurance bill months plus the property tax and luckily we didn’t own anything for income tax...

This government caused shutdown is bringing on unrest. Look for it to start happening, in earnest, this weekend and coming week! People are getting pissed off.....finally!
