National Public Radio is planning significant cost cuts as the coronavirus pandemic hits sponsorship and donation revenue, the public broadcaster's chief executive, John Lansing, said in a memo to staff. NPR is facing a budget deficit of between $30 million and $45 million through its 2021 fiscal year, Mr. Lansing said in the Wednesday memo. Sponsorship money is drying up amid "a very tough marketplace," he wrote, and donations could also take a hit as foundations and individuals "will be thinking hard about gifts as they watch the swings in the values of their own portfolios." NPR would be great if not for the incessant liberal bias. Liberals don’t know how good they have it. They get to tune in and have their worldview reinforced on the taxpayer dime with superb production values and zero commercials. Meanwhile we have to sit through Mahindra and My Pillow ads every four minutes. We still win, though, because our radio guys are great guys with great talent and, more importantly, they’re right.

Everytime the issue is raised libtards suddenly discover that PBS/NPR is their favorite channel despite mostly rarely watching/listening or not having used it since they were a kid. Then its all over the presses as if Trump is going to gun down your family pet. Then once the threat passes the news cycle moves on and everybody complains about not funding the 9 billion other things they want funded and are the most important thing in the world at that moment.
